One of India’s leading manufacturers of power, auto and inverter duty transformers, Atlanta Electricals, is launching its IPO on September 22, 2025. The company has filed its red herring prospectus (RHP) on September 16, 2025. 

About the IPO

  • Issue Structure: The IPO is a book-building issue of ₹687.34 crore, consisting of a fresh issue of ₹400 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of ₹287.34 crore worth of shares from existing shareholders Atlanta UHV Transformers LLP, Hemang Harendra Shah, Nimish Harendra Shah, Dhaval Harshadbhai Mehta (held jointly with Avane Dhavalbhai Mehta), Gitaben Harshadbhai Mehta (held jointly with Harshadbhai Amritlal Mehta), and Jignesh Suryakant Patel. 

  • Price Band: The price band is set between ₹718 and ₹754 apiece.
     
  • Subscription Period: The IPO will remain open from Sep 22, 2025, until Sep 24, 2025.
     
  • Allotment & Listing: The basis of allotment will be finalised by Sep 25, 2025, and tentative listing on BSE and NSE is Sep 29, 2025.
     
  • Book-running Lead Managers: Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Limited and Axis Capital Limited are the book-running lead managers for the IPO. 

  • Registrar: MUFG Intime India Private Limited is the registrar for the issue. 

  • Use of Proceeds: The company intends to use the IPO proceeds to 
    • Repay outstanding debt
    • Fund working capital requirements 
    • General corporate purposes 

Atlanta Electricals IPO GMP

As of September 19, 2025, the Atlanta Electricals IPO GMP stood at ₹144. The estimated listing price is ₹898, i.e., a 19.10% gain per share over the upper price band.

In terms of production volume, Atlanta Electricals is one of India’s leading manufacturers of power, automotive, and inverter-duty transformers (as of fiscal 2025) with ratings up to 500 MVA and voltage levels reaching 765 kV. The company is among the few companies in India that manufacture transformers up to and including 200 Mega Volt-Amp (“MVA”) capacity and with 220 kilovolts (“kV”). 

Their revenue from operations increased from ₹874 crore in fiscal 2023 to ₹1,244 crore in fiscal 2025, reflecting a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of approximately 19.3%.
